Dagong Global Credit Rating has revealed an international rating of neobanks.

Neobank – The prefix neo within the new time period „neobank” in Greek means „new” (from the Greek neos new), i.e. neobanks are upgraded and modernised banks, typically modernised with modern performance and forms of communication and information switch including primary parts like internet (websites, offices) and cellular financial institution (apps, messaging, telephone management).

The ranking consists of only full-fledged banks working under banking licenses and underneath full management of hyperregulators. Payment techniques and organisations operating beneath cost operators’ licences are not included within the rating.
